Missed the bus!

On the last day of my stay at my friend's house, I made some delicious Peach Float dessert for my buddies :) I hope they enjoy it! Alas, I overstayed a bit and when I reached KL Central, I missed the night's last bus to LCCT! Mwahaha, thank you for my patience! :)

My Reward? A Macbook!

Most of the time, satisfaction after doing artworks is a reward just by itself. Every month or two, I would go out and get myself some new duds. Jeans, t-shirts and maybe a video game or two (well, maybe more than two :P).

So it's been almost a whole year that I've thrown myself out in the wild jungle of freelancing. What would you, reward yourself after a long period of working? For me, an Aluminum Macbook!

So, have you given yourself a reward for this year? :D

HobbyCon 2008

HobbyCon is happening again this year! I went to the convention last year and I was impressed at what the commitee members have managed to make. This will be so much fun to attend like last year :)

I hope to have a table so I can sell my stuff. I just have to figure out what, haha!

Venue: Kompleks Asia City, Kota Kinabalu
Date: 6 - 7 December 2008

Anti Coal Plant T-Shirts

So, this is my contribution for Sandakan's Anti Coal Power Plant Campaign! This is a t-shirt design with three variations of the text; Malay, English and Chinese.

I have no idea if Google Translator is reliable when translating English to Chinese :O So is it actually safe to send the Chinese version to print? O_O;; Wouldn't want the Chinese text to say bad things about great ancestors or something *_*

Sabah Coal Plant Issue

Recently here in Sandakan, there's been a ruckus about how the Coal Plant Project is being brought here from Lahad Datu. The people over there rejected the idea so now they're bringing it here?

What, are our lives less important that they'd bring the dirtiest power source to us?

I don't care how "clean" they say it is, in the long run, it'll still be BAD. Sure we use diesel everyday. Doesn't mean we want more junk up in our insides.

The New Straights Time Online has an article about this.

The Sandakan Chinese Chambers of Commerce are now having talks to find ways to get rid of this horrible horrible coal plant. My dad is joining in the cause! I'm gonna try to do something to.

So like, if you're affiliated with any NGO people, tell them to fight for this cause~ Cheesy

Coal is not cool!
