OMG hehe haven't done anything with this blog in awhile. Well, been busy (and lazy). A lot of stuff happening. Work is fun. Now there's gonna be crossovers in Oscura with other comics within JOM! Gonna be fun hehehe ;)

My group is starting doing animations for this years comic fiesta! We're hoping it'll be shown in a big screen (LOL). I'm hoping we'll be able to show everyone that we can do great stuff with our own hands. It all started by watching the making of Molly : Star Racer. Man that thing is such a gem! I bet it'll be a big hit. French people can animate real good and they mix eastern with western animation styles seamlessly! I wanna study there ;_;

Well, it looks better than all the crap that local studios are making that's what I think HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I tell ya when we finish this, I'm gonna put it up in youtube so ALL THE WORLD CAN SEE!!! >:D

Opening (Intro)

Hehe, just a little post. I saw an animated clip of one of Utada Hikaru's song and it was very inspiring. It was really short but was really awesome to me. I drew this pic after watching the clip.

Gajillion of Things To Do

Sigh, after the holidays, my work load seems to have doubled...well, actually, it didn't but that one week holiday makes it look like I have a lot of work XD Well, Oscura is getting more fun to do cause I have some idea's on how to make the storyline much more fun to read as well as to make it easier for the readers to empathize with the characters, I hope ^_^ And I also did a new one page pin-up for my series(Newtype anyone? XD) which I hope to do for the other series in JOM!

The deadline to send in our works for Comics Fiesta looms closer...I just hope I can finish my comic and that fanart poster I wanted to do ;_;

Knights of Melaka, The Animated Series

Hahahaha, it's no lie that my dream is one day to make an animated series based on Malaysian folklore. Even though the stories of Hang Tuah has become quite boring to some over the years, it's still one of the best folklore that we have in my opinion. Hehe, it'd be nice to make all the stories mix with each other. Then everyone can make appearances a-la Justice League Unlimited XD

It's too bad everyone here keeps on making dumb kid shows. Ugh, and people wonder why most of the talents here go overseas to look for jobs...Although, my hopes are still up for the animation industry here~ I know of 2 studios that have very amazing people working for them now ^_^

So, these are the sketches that I did of my version to this famous Malaysian folklore.

Tuah's design was based on a painting that I did. Just changed his color scheme a bit.

Since Teja can kick-ass as good as the other guys, I made her a bit boyish (although, that was really an accident...).

Jebat is supposed to be bigger than Tuah simply because I though it'd be a nice contrast with Tuah's design.

Digital Beginnings

Woo hoo! I finally bought a new computer last week! Thank god for monthly payments ;_; Now I can do work at home and color/sketch too! YES! and most important of all...I get to listen to my nice mp3s ^O^ YEAH!!! These are some stuff that I've been working on for my group's (Mars and Uranus) art & comic books...

ARGH! Animals are hard to draw so I used some references for this :)

Sigh, deadlines are hecktick for me though! Argh, hopefully I'll be able to churn out good stuff for work and the MnU project...Hmm, can't wait to go back to my hometown for Hari Raya next week! I'll be able to meet my family and eat some home cooked meals. Mmm, yummy :9

Also one more thing is that probably at the end of December, I'll be getting myself a phone line so I can set up an internet account. Yippie! Then I'll be able to be online most of the time! Yay!
