Hey guys & gals! I'm really excited with the convetions that MNU will be participating this year! Of course there's Comic Fiesta 2006 (CF2006) & the Sci-Fi Convention at Cineleisure Damansara (I hope I spelt that corrrectly).
Sent the book to the printers last week so hopwfully we'll get the books soon! O_O For those of you who'll be attending CF2006, we'll be selling the books and a free comic book (limited) at RM30! So buyyyyy! It's cheap and it's fun, just like a Nintendo Wii! (lol)
We'll also be selling posters (A3) but haven't really set a price to them yet.
For those of you overseas who wants the book, we're planning on selling them online too! Good news, yes?

MnU Animation, Progress
Production is moving slowwwwwwly :( All due to the fact that we have to finish our book first in time for Comic Fiesta. The artbook production is going rather smoothly, with all the MnU members churning out some neat stuff!
I can't help but wishing CF would come here faster though. Because I want to see the animation production going on full force! XD So far there's just a few people involved. But even with the little we have, I'm LOVING the look of the animation *_* Imagine if everyone is focusing their energy to do it, WAH MnU Maju Jaya! hahahaha

First Born Scene
Yes, we've hatced our first scene~ and she looks so beautiful! (misty-eyed) I'm so proud of the others :) They're doing a really good job of the animation project. Everything is looking good!
On a sad note though, we wont be able to show the finished version in this year's Comic Fiesta :( But we will be showing a work-in-progress of the whole animation. Everyone will be able to see fully animated scenes, rough animations and storyboards/color keys of the whole animation. The music is also being worked up on, making the sound much better. We'll be working on our fourth artbook. Plans have already been made to checkup on the production so everyone doesnt slack off (hehe).
We have big plans and hopefully everything will run smoothly :) So without further ado, here's the Baby Girl.

MnU Animation GO!
Wah, havent been updating this thing in awhile :P Anyway, life is good. Soon, there's gonna be a change :) Erm, nothing much to say about me haha.
On the 31st of August (Selamat Hari Merdeka semua!), MnU was interviewed by New Straits Times newspaper for a national day special! Whee, it was a blast~ Hui, bila lagik bah ;) Haha the NST building looks like Karamunsing in the old days...HARHAR

Everything is going SLOWly for the animation. We're thinking realistically and we're going to concentrate more on the book for Comic Fiesta this year. Although we're not going to abandon the animation. But people will get to see a special "work in progress" full clip a la Beauty & the Beast hehe. Here's an update on the animation we're working on :

Anime-ting
OMG hehe haven't done anything with this blog in awhile. Well, been busy (and lazy). A lot of stuff happening. Work is fun. Now there's gonna be crossovers in Oscura with other comics within JOM! Gonna be fun hehehe ;)
My group is starting doing animations for this years comic fiesta! We're hoping it'll be shown in a big screen (LOL). I'm hoping we'll be able to show everyone that we can do great stuff with our own hands. It all started by watching the making of Molly : Star Racer. Man that thing is such a gem! I bet it'll be a big hit. French people can animate real good and they mix eastern with western animation styles seamlessly! I wanna study there ;_;
